About Port Everglades - Miami Chapter

The Port Everglades / Miami Chapter serves the Port Everglades, Miami and south Florida area. We are a fraternal and benevolent society, contributing to the best interests and well being of its members both professionally and socially.

Our mission is to recognize, foster and otherwise assist all wise and provident measures dedicated to the furtherance of the Maritime industry of the United States of America; to assist in the enhancement of the stature of the American Master Mariner; and to promote accomplishment of those purposes set forth in the Declaration of Policy in the constitution of the national Council of American Master Mariners, Inc.

The Port Everglades recieved its charter into CAMM on January 31, 1984. Captain David Goff serves the chapter as President.

Meetings

Chapter meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month except for the months of July and August. We’re at a new venue, Ga Luppi’s at the Pompano Beach Golf Course, Federal Hwy at NE. 10th Street, Pompano Beach. Bar at 1130, Lunch at 1200; $15, please have exact change.

Become a Port Everglades / Miami Chapter Member

Any member of the National CAMM in good standing, residing, working, or otherwise situated within the Port Everglades / Miami Florida area are eligible to join the Port Everglades / Miami Chapter of CAMM.

Annual dues for the Port Everglades / Miami Chapter are $10. To apply for Port Everglades / Miami Chapter Membership, please contact President Captain David Goff or Treasurer Captain Elizabeth Clark.
